Goofin' Around Since 1984
Goofin' Records started 1984. I had started my rockin' "activities" two years earlier, when I founded a small rockin' magazine called "Pirates" in 1982. I did about 20 issues of the magazine and aranged my first Rock And Roll gigs at the same time.
It was naturaly progerssion to out a record thru the mag, and the very first EP -release sold out pretty fast. As there were some other rockin' magazines around in Finland at the same time - but not really any labels - I descided to stop doing the mag and keep putting out Rock And Roll records from Finnish bands.
Now - almost 300 releases and 25 years later - we still keep doing some Rock And Roll Gigs. Besides the label - we have a record shop in Helsinki dedicated to 50s Rock And Roll.
