| Francine - Still Burning Francinen albumi "Still Burning" ylsi ensimmäisellä listaviikollaan komeasti sijalle 18. Uusi levy on yhtyeen peräti 11. studioalbumi. Vuonna 1987 perustetun rock-orkesterin edellisestä levystäkin on vierähtänyt jo yli neljä vuotta. Yhtyeen perustajajäsenen Pete Salomaan mukaan uusi albumi sisältää paljon ”Amerikkaa” eli rootsia monelta kantilta. Francine perustettiin vuonna 1987. Yhtye sai nimensä ZZ Topin Francine-nimisen biisin mukaan. Musiikkiaan bändi kuvaili tuolloin psychobluesiksi. Yhtye on keikkaillut vuosien varrella ahkerasti lähes kaikkialla Suomessa sekä säännöllisen epäsäännöllisesti eri puolilla Eurooppaa. |

MIKE BELL & THE BELLTONES - BARE BONE ROCKABILLY Mike Bell & The Belltones come from Helsinki, Finland and they play 50´s-style rockabilly & rock´n´roll. The band was officially formed in late 2008 and they have since gathered a great following with their live shows all over European festivals: Finland, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, England, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland and Russia. The first Mike Bell & The Belltones album “Scream & Holler” was released by Goofin´ Records in 2010 and it was recorded live in a vintage studio in Berlin. The record got fantastic reviews and good radio play. A Song from the album “Lord, I´m in trouble again” was selected on a Finnish documentary. In 2011 they toured and made an EP “Baby, Make a Move” with an American 50´s rockabilly legend Huelyn Duvall. Their songs also appeared on international compilations and Goofin´ Records released a self-titled EP from the band. The second album “Payback” will be released in June 2012. They will also continue to tour the top rockin´ clubs and festivals across Europe. | Relax Trio - Shake And Roll RelaxTrio is a rock 'n' roll band hailing from Rauma Finland. The members of the RelaxTrio are Linda Teränen, born 1994 (lead vocals, double bass), Oskari Nieminen, born 1993 (guitar, harp and vocals) and Vilho Voutilainen, born 1995 (drums and backing vocals). Before RelaxTRio, Linda and Oskari had played and performed together a couple of years. Back then Linda played accordion. At 2004 Linda won the local song contest for children and they got a gig to a big market happening at Rauma. They wanted more instruments for the gig and knew, that Vilho was "the man" behind the drums, so they asked him to join the group. 2005 Linda got a double bass and so the RelaxTrio at its present form were born. Music style of the band became rockabilly country blues..... At the year 2007 they won the national band contest "Junior Sound and Rage 2007", where the upper age limit for the band members was 15 years. First prize were studio time and demo making. From that demo they made the author's edition CD with six songs, four of those songs are their own. CD is no longer available. Association of Finnish Music Schools arranged a student band review at Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory as a part of their rhythm music theme year. The review took place at 22.11.2007 and RelaxTrio was one of the participants and was selected as a band of the year. RelaxTrio was again at the studio at may 2008. New CD came out at beginning of july. There's a 7 songs at it and 6 of them are their own. This one is also sold out. Same year 2008 they received the Culture price from the city of Rauma. The biggest highlight at their career so far was the participating at the national band contest Sound and Rage 2011, where the upper age limit was 25 years. There were 150 bands and The RelaxTrio got the second price. At 2012 band made recording contract with, in this genre, the well known Jungle Records. And the resulting record Shake & Roll was released on july 6th 2012. The Relaxtrio received Honourable Mention in Femma Gala 2013. |

| Harry Fontana - Lonely Sun Harry Fontana, a native of Helsinki, Finland, started his musical career at 7 years old. Inspired by the James Dean Movie "Rebel Without a Cause", he formed his first professional band, The Thunderbirds, at 13. His second band, formed at age 15, The Billyboy Rockers appeared at public and private venues around Helsinki until 1989 when Harry signed his first recording contract with K-Tel International and formed his new band, The Blast to the Past. It was with this band that his first record was released. He first came to Nashville in 1992 where he formed the band Lonesome Train, which appeared at the Acuff Theater at Opryland in 1992. In 1993 he formed the Tennessee Toneboys, playing on Second Ave. in Nashville on the street. After a short period of time, the crowds were large enough to necessitate the police blocking two lanes to make room. He was recruited off Second Ave. and invited to the United Artists building on Music Square to sign a contract with Heaven Spun Records. 1994 he formed the Harry Fontana Rockabilly Trio in Helsinki for overseas tours, which released an EP with "Confidential, "Wildcat", "Sweet Love On My Mind" and "You Look That Good To Me" that same year. In 1998 Harry released his "Rockabilly House" album from Colvert Brothers Records, Nashville, TN. Also in 1998, Harry’s contribution to Rockabilly music was mentioned in “The History of Rockabilly, A Forty Year Journey” (Hal-Leonard) by Billy Poore. In 2003 he was contacted by a charitable organization, "The Pietarinkadun Oilers" to write a song, "3 X 20", for the Finnish ice hockey team to be played during the International World Ice Hockey Championships held in Helsinki. In 2004 he was featured in Bill Rouda’s, “Nashville’s Lower Broad, The Street That Music Made” (Smithsonian Books). His photograph from this book is also featured in the Country Music Hall Of Fame. In 2006 he was invited to appear on the Johnny Cash tribute album "Train of Love, A Tribute to Johnny Cash", contributing his version of "Get Rhythm". In 2009 he was contacted to be a part of the “Slap That Bass, Finnish Rockabilly 1979-2009” box set, to be released in February 2010. It features his bio and one of his early recordings “OH-OH, Get Out Of The Car” from 1990. Harry has played regular shows on Lower Broadway in Nashville at Roberts Western World, Laylas Bluegrass Inn and Wolfies, in addition to having appeared at World Famous Tooties Orchid Lounge, Legends, Full Moon Saloon, Printers Alley, The Wildhorse Saloon and all over Nashville. He has played with Hank Williams III, Chuck Berry, DJ Fontana, Charlie Feathers, Paul Burlison, Kenny Vaughn, Brian Setzer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Marty Stuart, Billy Burnette, James Intveld and last but not least, recorded “Confidential” with Pentti Lasanen. |
